Parts & Help Needed with Snow Trac (track, ingition, etc)

Re: Parts wanted: Snow Trac Bogie Wheels

Looking for an easier way to install a track that I have to replace the belting on, also need key blank for the original ignition lock switch.

The foam filled bogie that I put back on felt like it weighed twice as much as it did before filling. If you multiply the 15 or 20 lbs. by 14 it would add up to 280 lbs which is a little more than I feel comfortable with. I am going to take one of my original wheels to the factory in Kent WA, to see if the solid hand truck tires will fit. They weigh only about a third as much. Also, I have a few extra wheels, but not sure if I should sell any.

Thanks for any information. rrossell1

You may be best off simply replacing the ignition switch with a modern one and a new set of keys.

From what I can tell, many of the original switches have been replaced along the way and what you currently have may not even be an original. I know of a couple owners who thought they had originals only to find out someone long ago had replaced the ingition switch.
