Part Diagrams OC-4,OC-12,T-16

Boggie,
The T-16. Is this a strong diff? Is it still available through Bombardier? Thanks.

It is still Available But not made buy Bombardier/Camoplast What is produced
is the center section in most differentials that is refered to as the " Chunk"
new cost 10,000 remaned 6500 as did Bombardier they created the " carrier"
as seen in the repair manual then they build this into the tub. The newer SV252 have a stand alone aluminum case and good for building machines from. As due the Go-tract's GT800,GT1000 They have a two piece cast case In comparsion to the OC-12
my opinion is they are close the T-16 have a 6/35 typical ratio r/p, they are much more available than the OC-12 and with the final drives or torque hub as used on the GT800 and GT1000 the are pulling 20-25000 pounds around with ease.

We typicaly have 12-20 of these on the shelf and all the parts. because they are so widely used in the Bombardiers. except the Bombi's,BR100 and BR-100plus use a small version which uses a DANA Ring and Pinion but still a controlled diff.

THe M-24 is the largest controlled diff that I Know and was made by Cadillac
for the Military we stock parts for those also but are starting to have to manufacture now as the supply is fading

hope any of this is of use:thumb:

Boggie the SV252. Who currently produces this? Any pictures of the unit? THANKS!

Mike , here is the Differential in a SV252 it is a Bombardier " snow vehicle
252" stand alone unit also used in the SV302 but that one has drop down gear boxes welded on the outside. :thumb:

Note: the double slave cylinders this is common on the units the have redundent steering systems both hydraulic and brake master cylinder steering with seperate slaves for each
