Paint for early Imp

Any body out there have a paint code for thiokol orange? I've got an early aircooled Imp that someone painted turd brown... Gettin ready to go cattin today will try to post pics this PM.

We had to paint the back end of our Imp. We used Implement orange. We bought it at our local Big R store. It is very close to the orange that our Imp was painted.

You could use that color for a really nice base on a camo paint job, desert type too....

Mine is orange, or was until I stripped the paint off and been too busy using it to repaint it yet. Was thinking I would paint it Camo, then I would not be able to find it when I parked it in the woods... so it may end up orange again this summer sometime...

I paint our rear end rebuilds with Allis Chalmers Orange (Van Sickle#453) it's very close, but J.I.Case Flambeau Red(#458) is a much nicer shade.

Not sure on the Thiokol but the Tucker cats are painted "Omaha Orange". It seems like I've seen a paint code for Omaha but would have to dig for it. It will probably show up in a search on this site.
