Out My Back Door

Bob, get your mind out of the gutter! I just took a picture out my back door as it is 52 degrees F (sorry Mith, you will have to calculate Celcius yourself), sunny with puffy clouds.
Anyone else care to share what is out their back door?

Dargo, how many times have I had to tell you to stay off my grass!

Bonehead . . . things here are very grey, tan and muddy. The sky is overcast too. Yesterday it was sunny early in the day, but a storm rolled in, prior to the storm we hit 17-C (that is for Mith, sorry Bonehead, you'll have to convert it backwards) Not much is starting to green up except the crocus and daffodills are begining to pop up (no flowers, just the greenery). We had pouring rain all night so the ground is mud, even where there is grass the ground is very soft and your feet leave imprints.

Well its 41 here (yes, im lowering myself to your oldfashioned ways) and trying to snow. Very overcast. Sounds similar to you Bob.
Bone, nice playframe, can I come over and play sometime, I expect you have many fun hours playing with your freinds on that (uh, the other meaning guys)

Out the back door to the left, its looking more like a scrapyard every day!

No need to share what's outside my back door. It should be lawn........it's all water. We've been hit hard with rain here the last few days. The ground is just saturated. Sure plays hell on my leach field. Now if LBrown59 was here he'd tell me the leach field has to go and install a new aerator system :pat:

It's raining and snowing here, suppose to get 5" after some rain. Yesterday was 50 and sunny so today with the wind we are all inside.

Here is a picture that I took yesterday at the beach, in the eighties and humid. It is about a hour and half from the house.

Actually we have had 6.25 inches of rain in the last 48 hours with 2 to 3 more inches forecasted tonight. My 1 1/2 acre lake is about 4 acres now. I opened the emergency spillway and I think I washed away a road down the ways a bit. Oopsie!

If we get the 50 mph winds after another 2 or 3 inches of rain (making 8 to 10 inches of rain in just over 2 days), I'm concerned that we will have lots of trees down. Fortunately I don't have any issues with water, but there are thousands in my area with flooded houses and basements. I shouldn't complain that I've been pumping water out of my pool for the last two days. I don't think some people around here would feel very sorry for me.:o

This was taken earlier today by my daughter. Not a good picture but it was the start of our storm. We got some snow but now it is raining and thundering out. Snow is to come again.

Mud season with a vengence has begun. Hopefully it will be quick, I really want to get started on the house. :o

Jay; Nice yard, and if I remember right, that green stuff looks like grass. Won't be like that around here tll late April, early May!!:thumb::tiphat::beer:

Our back yard view is mostly heavy timber. We border the national forest service to the side property boundary and have some great views to our west property boundary. We have all kinds of wildlife in the meadow in the summertime. Elk, deer, antelope, coyotes, fox, wolves?, and many other types of animals frequently are found grazing or just passing through this meadow. Some pics were taken using telephoto lens.

Ok some people have the life! Wait a minute. Isnt that the mountain you took a picture of me and Bob in the Snow Trac makeing a big $ sign? (the saddle on the left?)

No, you forgot already that was Brokeback Mountain where I caught you three playing!!!

Snow Mtn$ Activ (Small) Both 3.JPG

Oh, I also forgot to tell you, what is called Brokeback Mountain is located within the Cloud Peak Wilderness area. Appears you, Bob and BigAl are using motorized vehicles within a non-motorized travel area. Maybe that is why the Forest Service Ranger has been knocking on my door and asking for names of the snow cat operators in that picture????:yum: :yum: :yum:

You guys better start shaping up or I will pass the info on to the ranger. They are just looking for someone to violate wilderness non-motorized travel restrictions and make an example of them to the tune of a $10,000.00 bill.:yum: :yum:

Maybe that is not Bob's family crest but a sign telling you the cost to play on the mountain!!:yum:

I don't have very pretty views out of my back door, thanks to building work, new barn etc., it looks more like a bomb site, but looking into my field there are the sheep and the Foden and trailer, so perhaps you might like to look at that!

Ut Oh, she said 'Sheep'!! Mith and John are gonna get all excited. :D

Beautiful pics all. What scenery. Pineridge awesome fall colors. And the Mountain pics, simply breath taking. :thumb:

Mine looks so barren now. No leaves on the trees yet ....but I'll take one this weekend to add to this thread.

here's out my backdoor, as I type. I guess I tried to early to get into the boat thing this year. These are the ruts I left with my TC when I thought I could get the boat out on the blacktop drive. I guess anyone can see I didn't make it!:pat::tiphat::beer:

Picture #1 is a view to the east from the covered porch (technically NOT the back door of the house). Picture #2 is west by northwest (if you have really good eyes you might be able to see DaveNay's house)

YES!!! Sheep photos!!!:thumb: Let's see them!!!:whistle::applause::StickOutT

Uh John, that would be the playhouse I built for my daughter down there at the bottom of the hill. Dave lives somewhere in the horizon past that last row of trees. (about 90 miles past that last row of trees)

Was reading this thread and looked at the bottom for similar threads and they are all jokes, was this like this before or just after Bob's last post.:smileywac

Or does the software need tweaking?

Bob-
With all that outdoor furniture, you have enough seating to start an old age home. I can just picture it now, birds chirping, a deer or two eating the flowers, elderly people sitting outside with their I.V.s and oxygen bottles, the sound of someone hacking up a lung......... Sorry, just goes to show you what kind of sick puppy I am.
But seriously, beautiful pictures Bob.
