I'm just starting to get the photos downloaded, and my daughter's camera is not cooperating so I only have some of the pictures, but here are some shots of Melen & Anita. Timba is in there too! I can't remember the name of that goat.

Here are some more photos from Wales (Anita lives in Wales).

Some of of the signs were just amusing. I wished I had taken some photos of the street signs, they were bi-lingual in Welsh & English. Near as I can tell, Welsh is a very difficult language, most words contained only 1 vowel and typically 2 "L"s and at least 1 "W"

Three photos are of where we stayed in Wales. It was a little town (about 10 houses) sitting on a ridge overlooking the Irish Sea. Our home was a converted chapel and had some great views out to the sea. There was a path that led down to the sea through a farmers fields and down a cliff that was roughly 200' high.

Down on the beach in Wales. There was a lot of surfing going on in this area but the water is COLD so to enter the water you wore full body wet suits. Air temps were about 60 degrees and there was ALWAYS a stiff wind coming in over the water. I didn't go in. But it did provide a lot of beautiful views and vistas.

The abbey ruins at St Davids along with a couple photos inside the Cathedral. St Edward is the patron of our church at home, I thought it interesting to see a chapel inside the Cathedral dedicated to him.

Here is the work of King Henry VIII after he wanted a divorce and the Pope wouldn't grant it. He had a hissy fit and destroyed this place, its the Lamphey Bishops Palace in Wales. We had the whole property to ourselves and spent a good deal of time exploring its niches.

Great Pics Bob. :thumb: You sure know how to make a guy jealous.
Thanks for keeping yourself out of them too! :poke:

We spent some time in Tenby and another closeby town of Pembroke, visited the city and the castles there. These cities are on the southern coast of Wales.

Bob, who is that grey haired old lady in the picture with Timba, Melen and the goat named Bert? I know I look awful, but surely there was no need to frighten every body from forumsforums? Lovely pictures of Wales, you were very lucky, the sun was shining, otherwise it is grey, grey, grey.

Beautiful pictures Bob. THANKS!!!!!!

Good to see Ice Queen and Melen too. :thumb: Melen sure has grown since I last saw a pic of her. :D Is she getting close to driving age?

Ah, I see a Mini-Cooper in her, I mean your future.$$$:drive2:$$$
Bone
She and the lovely Mrs Bob are going to be fighting over the Jeepster Convertible, which (I'm hoping) will be roadworthy by spring of 2009.
