Our kids are overweight by design.

Proudly Deplorable
Jessie Waters bring this to the front. 70% of our children's diet is processed foods.
Shamefully the food industry, the medical industry, and our government is doing this on purpose.
Why?
For profit.

Not the parents?
My Polish wife avoided all sorts of processed foods for the kid and me. She tends to cook from scratch. Son had never been fat.
I also cook from scratch. Wholesome balanced meals.
Our youngest is 7. She used to eat Fruit Loops morning, day, and night. Mac & cheese was the only exception.

But now that she lives with us, we have begun a process of widening her diet to wholesome fare. She gets fresh Strawberries, Fresh eggs, Bananas, Canned Peaches and sliced Apples, along with Mac and cheese, meat sauce spaghetti and perhaps some Goldfish crackers. She will devour Green Beans and Veggie straws for snacks.

Skinny as a rail and full of unbound energy.

She shuns bread but may take an occasional donut. However, even cookies are seldom asked for. And often refused.

Unless they are Thin, Dark Choclate, Oreos. That's holy food.
