Order a Pizza!

Dargo

Like a bad penny...
This is funny, but the scary part about it is that it's probably not too far away from being reality. Want to know how to order a pizza in 2010? Click the link and see. . . turn up the volume. . . listen closely. . . watch the pointer carefully!
This seems so true, it's frightening!

It is scarier than funny. I remember watching the Jetsons as a kid and thinking how great it would be to watch your favorite movie at home. I remember thinking, not in my lifetime.

I remember once a very long time ago going on a day trip with the family. Dad said to watch the map for a white dot going down the road.............can we say gps?

uh the road trip was over 40 years ago!

Mine is a little "pointer" not a white dot, but it is pretty amazing how far technology has come.

Think about the telephone, in the 1970's every house had 1 hardwired to the wall. Now most homes have a half dozen, mostly cordless, plus families seem to have a few cell phones too.

Televisions are another thing that have dramatically advanced. Mid 1960's homes had 1 B&W TV set, color TVs existed but were not common until the late 60's and early 70's. You had to walk to the set to turn a knob to change the channel and there were only a few possible channels you could get. Today most homes have 3, 4, 5 or more TV sets. HDTVs are now common. 100+ channels are now common. There are no knobs on TV sets today.

Cars. Microwaves. Computers.
