operating in the beaver ponds at buster creek

Snowtrac Nome

member formerly known as dds
here are some pics from last weeks trip to buster creek we had a wonderful day for being a few degrees above 0. the sun was so intense that it was melting the top layer of ice making it almost impossible to stand up on. the snow was very sugary and had no base to it which left the old snow trac walling in the deep stuff but it had no problem pulling it's self around with the new 1776 motor in it there is some vidieo coming too but you tube says 2 hours to down load.

Glad the Snow Trac is up and running good, and with more torque and HP to boot. You still are playing in the snow, and we're getting ready for planting time. Life isn't fair for sure....Have some fun for us will ya?

Good times, enjoy them!

Regards, Kirk

if the weather holds out and the roads are opened up enough I plan on a family trip down to timber next weekend its about 30 miles from Solomon but down there you start getting into trees.

they are solid on top we had the snow machine there to look for overflow as the shallow waters get so much pressure they crack the ice and ooze over. what is scary we have a phenomena called corn snow where the water oozes under the snow and stays liquid till you open it up and hit it with metal than instant freeze happens.
