ONLY "3" LEFT

the old trucker

New member
That's right, he has 2 sold & only 3 left. Rebuilt 251 engines, one has a 265 flat head. New brake bands, spring cans, new bushings & bearings everywhere.
I was talking to him last night & he told me he wants them gone ASAP !! He needs the space in his garage to start another project. So the selling price is reduced to $8,000.00 each. There are also spare parts that go with each machine. Start her up & drive away....Just in time for the hunting & fire wood seasons....

too bad they are so far away - shipping would be a killer for me out here in the west Kootenays of BC - just the kind of machine I'm looking for though - very practical for what I need - I'm looking at one local to me that's had a lot of work done to bearings, brakes, rear end, etc, but needs at least a new head for the 300/6 Ford industrial, perhaps a complete motor - I'm having trouble getting the owner to set a price -

OT,

I didn't mean any offense, and I hope there's none taken.

What do you mean by RACING ??

You know, like Formula 1, but with tracks... :wow: Set up a course, line 'em up, and see who can go the fastest!

I hope you realize I'm joking. (Sort of.) I realize this guy's probably spent a ton of time and money fixing them up so nice, and while he likely had a lot of fun doing it, I'm sure he's not wanting to see them messed up by a bunch of :w00t2::w00t2: crazies.

But then, you never know what will be entertaining. A buddy of mine sells old US army deuce & 1/2's, and this summer we raced old '50's Korean war era trucks in a hay field, three abreast. He strips off the bed and the dual wheels. Best of all, there's no brakes on any of them. There's nothing like having all 6 wheels off the ground!! Even the farmer who used to use them on his potato farm was there to enjoy the show. He said his farm hands used to race them too!

Crazy?? Oh yeah, and it just isn't right. But man, is it fun!!!

Welcome to Wisconsin.

FWIW, I saw the picture of near identical cats and thought

Bumper cars.

Must be a WI thing?
