Don't know if this is the right place to post this..but i have owned a few dozen of these engines..bought and sold over the years..Todays Auction ..at Cabin Fever Auction in PA..sold a Springfield Oh...engine.. 2hp that sold for $67.200...Really wish it would of been mine..Might have to click the pic link on this link..Can't seem to link a direct pic... http://www.auctionzip.com/Listings/908786.html

I have yet to own one , but I really would like to know more about them . I have seen & heard a lot of them run and sure would like to have at least one to tinker with . If you have pics or video's to share I sure would love to see them . Sounds like a great hobby

Yes it did & thanks , so you restore them as well ? Without getting to nosey whats something like that one cost ?

I have run into several for sale but they have allways been sold before I could make an offer & no real ideal of how much to offer the ones I have run across they never list a price . Thanks that one looks & sounds great .

That one sold for $800...not that old it was a 1934 stover..a common engine.. Byron:whistling:...lol...well older than me...

I was wondering if anybody on here messed with old timey stuff like that. Hit'n'missers are something I'd love to own, just haven't had the cash loosed up to buy one.
There're lots of sites for stationary engine lovers out there.
