One NYPD officer with a big heart!

I think a majority of law officers are just like the rest of us. It's just the trash some have to deal with brings out the bad side of them. I'm sure most of us would react the same way.

I suppose it is sign of the times, but I saw a TV artical last night that said the homeless individule had been seen barefoot once again....:sad:

I don't know. If he has been seen barefoot it may simply be he wants to be that way and shoes are not a priority. Obviously though if he steps on something sharp and gets a foot infection he could end up needing hospital treatment.

I hope he gets what he wants. Strangely enough there are homeless people who are not interested in their family or vice versa. They may have gone through a rough time, and perhaps released from prison, have addiction problems, or lost their job and home etc., and their family don't want to know or be involved.

I do hope he is happy whichever route he chooses, and perhaps the Salvation Army can keep an eye on him and gently guide him the way he needs to go that is best for him.
