But we now know that Hawaiians can't drive worth a damn, 4 major accidents during evacuation. Cars abandoned on the roadways.
This is a great example of lack-of-preparedness. All police/EMS were pulled from danger areas before the expected landfall arrived. People were told to abandon their cars in gridlock and proceed on foot.
People, you are on your own. The government proved this with their actions. If you didn't know it before, then use this as your lesson
