Oil filters

Please make sure to read this page before you jump to any conclussions. As for filters and there manufacturers, below you will find my filter collection of filters that fit only one vehicle engine. It is the Corvair oil filter. NO other engine uses this filter. I have ammassed over 250 distinctly differant brands and filters within those brands to date. I still have a few more boxes of filters that I have yet to catalog. I have been collecting oil filters that were used on Corvairs since 1982!!!!!

Junkman,
Oil filter collecting - that's a new one to me. I guess you can collect anything. I've heard of people collecting rubber bands and string. Why not? Right?
I love the Ralph Nader PU filter. It pretty much says it all. Personally, I think they killed a perfectly good vehicle. I have several pilot friends who are in various stages of building some sort of experimental aircraft, and they all are using the Corvair engine for power. That says a lot about the reliability of the engine.:thumb:
Thanks for the link, dude.

BTW,
A+ on the woodworking. Nice tight Dadoes and Rabbits.

Those were the days that I had the time to do things right, the eye sight to see things correctly, and the patience to do projects like that. I built the four boxes and stopped. I should have made 10, because now I could fill all ten, plus a few more. Every time that I think that there are no more to be found, another will pop up.
If your friend that are building engines, need any mechanical parts, I have over 20,000 NOS Corvair parts in the garage and cellar. I hope to sell them off to other dealers this year. I love the car, but don't want to be working on them any longer. This is my 1964 Spyder Coupe....
