Just stumbled upon these waterfront Brooklyn, NYC apartments. Dunno what they cost but it's gotta be a bunch. Application states income must be 40X month's rent.
The bulk of these layouts seem to have the crapper door opening directly into the kitchen area. A no no in the midwest. The remodels seem to be recent, the buildings are 100 year old industrials put up by the guy who invented the cardboard box.

The neighborhood is called DUMBO sandwiched between 2 bridges.
