So what! That is a clean, clean people hauler that from the photos is in great condition. For 18K if I were looking for a cabin access tucker I'd be all over it.

I'm wondering if they did that because the front is heavier than the back trying to get more floatation

Kinda makes sense to have the most flotation under the heavier end.

That looks like a nice machine, and if anything, the price is on the low side.

One of my Tuckers was delivered with 1600 series front tracks and 1500 series in the back. That machine also came with a six-way front blade, but having longer tracks in front is not that unusual. I'd view that as a plus over having 1500 series tracks front and rear.

Nice looking Tucker.
Appears to be in good running condition and the price is not too bad. Someone will own it if description and condition is the same when they go to look at this one. I like the longer track setup on the front makes good sense with the weight forward.
