New year, new woodpile to stack.

Gone But Not Forgotten
Here is my busy work for a week or so. Waiting on another load of logs to do it again. 2 1/2 of these each year keeps everything warm. Where is that Nixon guy?:whistling: He would have that done in a day.

Stacked full from the ground to the tin roof with extra stacks in front. Takes a lot of heat to warm those greenhouses when the wind blows. We had a lot of wind this winter.

In all fairness to him, he has offered multiple times to help me. If he was a little closer I would take him up on it. He does a mess of wood also. I wish I could still cut but outside of windfalls blocking trails or my lane I don't do much sawing. Same for the splitter, I can run it but not the constant lifting. I tried loading the bucket while the one Amish boy did the splitting and after about 3 buckets I was done and hurting.

Bill, I'm glad to see you are providing habitat for your snakes and spiders! :whistling:

May have some spiders but snakes stay away from the woodshed. They are around but the cats and dogs keep them away from the buildings for the most part.

The wood is still staring at me every day as I get the barn ready for cows and do other chores.:hammer:

Tell you what... I'll get up with Nixon and we can probably get it done in a couple of hours.

You bring the DR. , Ill bring My CLS 25 hh . We'll let Bill stack as He's particular about that . Shouldn't take long at all . Then We can crack a barley pop and offer Bill free advice on the art of stacking . :yum::yum:
