Hi, I'm in upstate NY, and I have a 1969 Bombardier J5 sidewalk plow that I need and engine for. I use it to plow mine and my 2 son's driveways, and winter is fast approaching. CAN ANYONE HELP ME FIND ONE???

Hey Ted. Welcome to FF.
I'll suggest reposting your hunt for a motor in the Classified Wanted section or in the Snowcat forums for best exposure.
Enjoy and post often. :thumb:

That should have a ford industrial Inline 6 200 cid. Any ford inline 6 200 cid will work. There are tons of them. Post some pictures of the engine in the repair thread in the snowcat part. And WELCOME to the forums! BOGGIE will have every part you need for that Bombardier as well.

real upstate NY. Grafton, to be exact. KNow where that is? Little town about 40 minutes east of Albany, near the MA, and VT, AND CT borders. Our bombie was originally from NYC, but we acquired it by way of a 4 hour ride on a flatbed.

No, never been around Grafton. Lived in Watertown and Syracuse, and spent many a weekends around Messena (sp?), Lake Placid, Plattsburg along with Old Forge.

Honestly, I don't miss the snow:D
