You got that right, my friend. My Dad, growing up near the waterfront in Boston during the 30's used to go down to the docks and work most of the day cleaning out the holds for a Cod or Haddock to bring home. No food stamps, no welfare, no entitlements. Work all day for a fish or go hungry. That right there is the real deal, life during the depression. We, as a society today, have no friggin clue. None.
