You really don't get it, do you? The fact that it was put through without his knowledge is the problem, not an excuse. The people in his administration understand that (1) you don't bother putting complex deals on his plate; (2) you don't confuse him with facts; (3) and, you never give him an opportunity to talk about something until he has been programmed. They also know that they can get away with almost any kind of dumb plan, because he'll never know the difference.JimR said:

I get it Don. I also know how much you hate Republicans. I hate the Democrats just as much because I have seen what they have done to Massachusett's. What bothers me more is when Clinton did things, the Democrats said nothing. You know what I mean here. Now W is the boss and all hell breaks loose evertime something happens. So let's face it. Politicians on both sides suck. They all are bought and paid for. Just look around, the poor are getting poorer and the rich are getting richer. Sooner or later the poor are going to start taking everything from the rich. That's why certain politicians would like to see an end to firearms in America. Without our guns we are helpless against them. Sounds like Hitler all over again doesn't it. I just hope that I am not of this world when it happens.

Personally, I believe that it was all about the oil, and nothing more. Bush wanted to take control of Iraq's oil fields and line the pockets of the oil men that he hung out with before getting into politics. The last two honest politicians that this country had were Truman and Eisenhower!!!!!
