I am a 40+ year ASE Automotive Master Tech. I should have made a drawing of the switch wiring-I know better. I replaced the switch/thermostat assembly on my oven as it had failed. During replacement I mixed up a couple of wires. Oven comes on and reaches temp. The broiler ignition element come on when the oven is turned on and goes out when you turn the knob to broil. I was hoping to find a diagram so I do not have to wring out the switch operation with a meter.
 
Yet the online appliance repair parts sellers and Facebook appliance repair groups. They often have schematics.
I found the order of operation for my ice maker which helped me solve my problem.
