And we have a winner! Thanks Pat, Raidtrac 1800.
Not lots of info available on them even off of their own site. Looks kinda neat, I'm guessing chains and brake steer.

I had a brochure for one many years ago, as I recall it had chain final drive, steering by cone clutch but I don't remember whether disc, drum or band brakes, and a really small engine, about 4MPH or so max speed. I do remember that the GP was very low, about .3PSI with those aluminum grouser tracks like that one has. Made in eastern Canada somewhere. 1 person cab marketed for CC trail grooming and hauling log with different tracks. 'Sweet labor in tree farming', I think it said.

Info from seller...

The snowcat is a 1985 Raidtrac made in Canada. It has a 2 cyl.
Citroen gas engine which makes 35 hp at about 740 rpm.
It has 30" tracks and is mechanical brake/clutch type steering. It has
a 4 speed trany. with a top speed of 12 to 15 mph.
Their is a 10,000 lb winch on front and a pintle hitch on the back.
The unit weighs apx. 5000 lbs.

Played around with one of these some years ago. Woefully underpowered, at least at altitude. I think it had fan belt drive around clutches. It floated on unbroken powder pretty well but going uphill a brisk walk was faster (and a whole lot quieter). I would have guessed it weighed more like 2500 lbs.

i have an older raid track it's about the size of a cushman trackster and a little 20 horse tecumsha with a 2 speed trans its slow like a krusty but seems to be a simple rig
