........... and is always bringing scrap lumber home. Tired of it piling up. Put together a shooting bench. Pulls behind a quad nicely for mobility. Currently sitting at 85 yards, have the room for 110. Looking forward to trying out the new 7.62x39 AR I put together.

If you mount it on a pair of skis you could post it in the SNOWCAT forum area as a winter shooting bench :yum:

Sweet! I think you need a good .338 Lapua, .416 Barrett or even a .50 BMG just to keep it well exercised.

 ........ Good idea Bob ........... I could then market it and sell it to those guys, they'll buy anything!

Start building those and sell them at gun shows, I bet they would sell well.

Well I certainly don't think they'd need to be 2x10, it's just what I had. Whataya think you could fetch for one if it was an all 2x6 structure?

I would guess about $150.00 to $175.00

I have found plans for one on E-bay that sell for $7.95 and the bench is much smaller than yours.

I have seen aluminum 2 man benches that go for almost $400.00

Some of the small benches I have seen at Cabela's run about $165.00 yours looks much better than the store bought ones.

Nice setup.

I do have an alternative setup you may want to consider if you're thinking of making some.

Send it ................... If it's the "T" setup I'll pass though. I just don't see the benefit from them. I have a cheap one and it just doesn't do well with the full-figured shooter................

I am gonna try another and incorporate a storage space under the seat for bags and such.

Very nice there dog..

Reminds me that I need to replace the top of my shooting bench, but it is permanent set on posts in the ground. I suppose 30 years is a good long time to have one last, but it is definitely time to replace it. When the crops are out in the fall I have an easy 700 yrds in front of it to shoot. During the growing season I only have 50 yd.

Don't have pictures of it right now and can't get to its location to take any due to work.

Basically, it's a 2 piece design.
The table is the * layout and looking at it below, it's about 4' square with a 2' notch cut out of one corner for the seat.

The seat is the = and is about 2' square.

What I like about this being a left handed shooter, you can rotate the table 90° and switch it for left or right handed shooters.

Being 2 piece, it's light enough to pick up and move each piece individually. I have to cross a creek so dragging isn't an option. I just pick up both pieces and put them on a trailer behind the ATV and take to where I want it.
