My new dogs !

BigAl

Gone But Not Forgotten
We have two now that the old original crew has passed on .
Meet "Beans" and "Cricket".

Cricket is a Lab cross and very lovable . Beans is a Dashund/Beagle who thinks she is the baddest ass dog out there . Beans is a coffee addict . Do not put your cup down or she will drink it .

Never thought I would like a little dog but she sure keeps us busy .:yum:

Cricket sure blends into the background.

At least they are not the foo foo type of dog or otherwise we would have to revoke your man card.:yum:

Good looking dogs Al.

I'm not going to comment. I bought me 1 dog and now I pay the vet bills for, care for and feed 4 of them. That doesn't include the kitten that turned into a cat either.

our latest dog general ike also seems to like to drink coffee Macarther wouldnt touch it unless you added bailys to it

Oh man that's cute. Congratulations. It does prove the old adage though that adoption and rescue societies use, "Black dogs don't photograph well".

We're kind of at the same transitional stage. Our two original dogs have passed on, the big baby died last week at 14-years old, so we're left with the two "younger" ones, 10 years old and 2 years old. They're a little smaller too at 60+ pounds. We always liked having 3 dogs but I don't think that I'll be replacing the one we lost. It's so hard when you lose a good friend and companion. I think that when these two eventually pass on, I'll get out of the dog business.

I am willing to bet money you don't .:wink:Dogs are just great buddy's . I cannot imagine life without one .

Man !!!!They bring me so much happiness !!!!

Enjoy those "new to you" doggies. After putting down our 14 year old lab mix last September, we decided to stay pet free. For us it's hard to get anyone to care for an animal when we want to just take a few days and go somewhere, since we have become empty nesters back in January. I miss the dog, but it's not fair to have to kennel an animal for days or a week at a time while we're out having fun. It's like sending them to jail for no good reason. Might get a dog again when we get old and can't travel any more.
