My Morning Project

Last Thursday a storm with straight line winds came through our cabin. Not many trees down, lots of branches but one of my good shade trees went over. It was kind of tough to cut up as I was on the bank of our beech so was not on the level. Started last night late and finished by 11:30 this morning. Had some help when it came time to climbing the ladder (on the hillside) and getting the brush to the dump. I will have some good ole oak to burn on the beech next summer.

Looks like it just missed the deck. The bench is easier to repair than the deck! Not a fun weekend at the cabin but needed. Had a few times like that at the mountain camp before.
