Sitting here talking about the Lovely Mrs Bob and Mrs BCzoom leaving I got to thinking I will be leaving possibly starting this thursday. So I will be leaving the Lovely Mrs. Murph here home all alone. In fact the kids are all gone and she will be alone with the dog.

I have to visit 44 C stores in the next month. With the work I have to do at each one I figure I can hit two a day. The stores are in Minnesota, Iowa and mostly eastern Wisconsin. So don't all clap your hands at once since I won't be here much.

Bob will be disappointed to learn that in all my Travels Delivering tractors in excess of 23,000 LBS to an area comprising four states that you probably will not find a single Silk Hawaiian shirt in any Class C store!!

Be sure and keep us appraised of your travels and the very best to MRS. Murph during your absence!!

As in 18 wheeler big oil service centers Brian, and still never found an Hawaiian Shirt but did find plenty of Chrome Exhaust risers and naked ladies on mudflaps that could be adappted for a Sno Cat!!

Sorry to hear things aren't going so well. I know what you mean. I've only worked about 4-5 months in the past 3 years. Money got tight but I now have a contract that'll take care of things for awhile so I felt it OK for me to spend a bit.

Murph, hopefully you can get home on the weekends. C-Store food is pretty much fat & salt it tastes good occasionally but I can't imagine a month of hotel & c-store food.

This C store chain is a very large account for me. Unfortunately I pretty much eat there every day as it is. So much won't change. As far as salty and fat. Yep it hit me. I will have a laptop and so hopefully I can find hotels that have internet access to check up on you guys at night. It's Junkman that I am worried about the most though.

Yup, when people don't check up on him he gets himself into trouble.

Just curious, but what is the name of the C-Store chain? I know a couple distributors up that way who sell candy/snacks/tobacco to C-Stores, I wonder if I'm familiar with the chain or know someone who supplies them? There are some very high quality, well run chains up in the Minnesota-Wisconsin area.

Good luck with your road trip Murph! What a bad time of year to have to do that much traveling. Hope the weather doesn't cause you to much headache.
