Corinthian Bells.

I bought some of these for my dear friend in Australia and also for my mom. They are so melodious, I had to get some for myself. You can demo the sounds at the website. I selected the 29" in the Scale of A. A great gift MADE IN THE USA. I'm sure you can shop around and get a little better pricing. I couldn't find the website I ordered from.

Found it. This is the link to the site I ordered from http://tuberosestore.com/seeallcobewi.html All corinthian bells are on one page and you can scroll to the bottom to hear sound clips of each.

They are pretty and nice. I kind of like my homemade redneck ones I make with scrap. To each their own.

Our neighbors at our cabin have a couple of them things. I think if I brought one home for my wife she would kill me. Actually I like them but they drive my wife nuts.:mellow:

Sorry CG but I think for most it is a good idea. I would like one but I like my wife too.

The folks at the shelter have 3 of them and it is a pain when I am plowing snow and the wind is blowing. It always sounds like I am running into something. With my bad hearing it is even worse as the pitch is a lot higher than the ones I have.

Im getting the wife her own sewer spade so can help with some of the narrow trench digging around here. If'n she's really good, I might splurge for some new barn boots for mucking the stalls. Gotta keep 'em happy...yeppers! Nuttin sez lovin like something from Tractor Supply.

JEV, I'm glad to know that the age of romance isn't dead. :yum::yum:

My wife still reminds of the time I bought her that Browning 20 gauge, B-80, semi-automatic shotgun. man, that is one sweet shooting shotgun. I love it. :yum::yum::yum:

I understand. I have never been a fan of wind chimes. I've always thought them to be clanging and akin to fingernails on a chalkboard. These chimes are truly musical. I'd encourage your wife to take a listen and see what she thinks. The March winds have begun to blow and I have really enjoyed mine.
