Now a Published Author
Three men arrived at the pearlly gates, St. Peter goes out to meet them with his clipboard in hand.
He asked the first man what did he do to gain admittance into Heaven?
"Well St. Peter, for the last fifty years I've been preaching the Lord's word!"
St. Peter nodded his head and went to the second man and posed the same question...
"Well sir, this may sound strange, but I too have been preaching God's word for almost as long!"
Again St. Peter nodded and went to the third man whom was clearly just getting started in life. The again asked this young man what he did to gain entrance into Heaven.
With his head lowered he responded, "Well sir, I can't say a whole lot like these two preachers have done. I was a student truck driver for only two weeks before I arrived here."
St. Peter told the young man to go on in through the gates to Heaven, to which he smiled and darted through the gates! St.Peter was making some notes on his clipboard when one of the Preacher's asked, "Sir, why did you let a student truck driver go in through the gates when between the two of us, we have preached the Lord's word for almost 100 years between us!"
St. Peter stopped writing and looked up and replied, "in two weeks, that young man scared the Hell out of more People than the Hundred years of your combined sermons!"
