Mith whats wrong with you bloody poms?

Quote from the news article...........

"Australian Tourism Minister Fran Bailey said Britain had banned the television ads, which end with a bikini-clad woman on a beach asking "so where the bloody hell are you?," although the ads would still be seen in British cinemas and appear in print.

which end with a bikini-clad woman on a beach asking

Seems that they have eliminated this portion from the internet posted ad...

Neat commercial! Not sure if I can imagine the major US networks playing it or not, but I rather hope they do.:thumb:

I personally think this ban was by design. There was probably some money that changed hands with the Britain's Secretary of State for Culture, Media and Sport to ban it as a publicity stunt.

Vin, seems most them British paper pushers are boring 'do gooders'. Probably just doing it for the publicity.
Seemin alot of people here think that bugger is a bad work like the others, man, they need to loosen up a bit.
Still, remember that Toyota advert, now that was classic :D

PS, I see accoording to that link Spiffy posted I'm supposted to be offended, nah!

Most aussies use the word pom. It's like all words it depends on how it is used, tone is everything I sometimes drink at the RSL club (Tiny bar that holds about 6people)and there is a man that serves behind the bar that is Engish, and a real nice bloke at that, and everyone greets him with "you pommy bastard"

Many older aussies males also call English "to and froms"

Nah, dont worry, I'm not about to get pissy, I think tis funny :yum:
I gotta ask, what is the point in a bar that only holds 6 people? Or is it just another example of Aussie eccentricity

Nah just a little rural town, the RSL club only has about 20 active members and you are lucky to get 5 of those in for a drink on a friday night.
The funny thing is there is no smoking 1mt from the bar and the room is only1.5 mts wide
