If every state were to do this, seems like a good way to reclaim a lot of the land that the CCP has bought within the country.
Some of the land purchased by China was near Dwight Patterson AFB. I don't know about others but that scared the hell out of me.I'm actually on the fence on this one.
It would set a precedent that we can sue company's / government's outside the states the same as Mexico is doing to Smith and Wesson.
I feel Mexico doesn't have standing in that case and it should be thrown out.
I don't have a problem suing the Chinese company's in the states but your opening a can of worms suing the Chinese government.
What's stopping us from suing Mexico for all the fentanyl, that should have been started years ago and didnt.
The next strike will be England suing us for our free speech because it go's against their government free speech.
Then the Australia or some other gun restricted country will be coming for our 2A rights (not that our government isn't trying).
I don't have a problem with economic sanctions against the government's
We need to stick together and kick some ass and set a precedent a non citizen or non US company doesn't have a leg to stand on in the US to to sue they shouldn't be able to use our court against us.
In this case, they could have. They didn't.How long until they point back at us with Obama and Fauci? Are we going to pay at that point?
Who's they? China? What land or other assets do U.S. companies have in Chinese territory that they are going to seize if their courts rule that the U.S. is at fault? How long until they point back at us with Obama and Fauci? Are we going to pay at that point?
Yes, I was talking about China. I was under the impression this was about the fault for covid? Am I wrong?Who's they? China? What land or other assets do U.S. companies have in Chinese territory that they are going to seize if their courts rule that the U.S. is at fault?
You're not wrong. I'm just saying that China doesn't have the same ability to seize U.S. assets in China as we do to seize their assets here, as we don't have assets there, at least not to any large degree, so there really isn't much danger of judicial retaliation if they find, for example, that Obama and/or Fauci/the United States was at fault for funding gain of function research that led to COVID-19.Yes, I was talking about China. China was reckless with the outbreak of COVID when they let sick people leave the country. You're not wrong. Not only did China not try to control it, they tried to cover it up as long as they could. When it finally got out by no admission of their own (remember the satellite images of the mass burning of bodies), they tried to say it accidentally came from their wet market, and Fauci and others towed that line. That way, it looked like a natural outbreak for which nobody was at fault, which lends itself to running to the government for help from a "natural disaster," which increases the power of government over the people.China was reckless with the outbreak of COVID when they let sick people leave the country.
We can argue all day who's at fault. Our lab/their lab/ their border
However, they made no attempt to control it.
And, the entire world was infected
And that is why they were prosecuted in a Missouri court. Not only did China not try to control it, they tried to cover it up as long as they could.
