Miss Teen USA 2007 - South Carolina answers a question

SAD. But ...I'll cut her some slack. She is up in front of the crowd, on stage. I'm sure she was coached on things to slip into your answer such as South Africa, Iraq etc .....
They should have tutored her on listening to the question and understanding it before opening your mouth. :pat:
However I was totally unaware of the map shortage she mentioned. Maybe we should start a map drive for students ...... :D :yum:

Somehow she got 3rd place!!!!!! :pat: :pat:

Are these pageants good for anything?

You're a better man than I. To make it that far in a pageant, she's probably been doing it her whole lift.

I'd say she's clueless.

NO way, she might be cute, but that and a dollar wont get her a coffee and phone call. I could not watch over 30 seconds, she was struggling with the map thing.............wake up, have coffee, turn on brain, install in head.........test it.........what is 2+2............woops, she lost!
 
I would have said. A 5th of those poled were trully illegal aliens and there for not really American citizens. The Pole is incorrect. But I bet they sure as hell could find that shit hole of a country MEXICO on a world map!
 
She obviously was caught by surprise by the question and didn't know how to answer and froze. She tried to wing it and just dug a deeper hole for herself. Heck, she's only 18 -- did you expect her to sound like Ronald Reagan?

Well, I've got a daughter that is of the Miss Teen USA age -- and even though she has a fast wit (like her dad), I could see her getting into a babbling moment and making no sense as well.

Now, for the rest of you -- I have no pity and let it rip! :2gunsfiri

Whether or not there are educated U.S. Americans such as South Africans going to Iraq with maps for Asia... how did she do in the swimsuit competition?
