Any thoughts or predictions?
There's some rule changes that I think were catered to each fighter.
2 minute rounds - benefits Tyson so he doesn't tire out.
14oz gloves (vs standard 10oz) - benefits Paul so Tyson doesn't kill him.

My bet is on Tyson. All he has to do is hit Paul about 2 or 3 times in the head and Paul will be shattered (both literally and figuratively) once he feels those hits.

I'm with you.
I'll stay up late to watch it. They figure out well begin between 11p and 12a ET.

I don't normally watch fights but I'll be watching this one. My pretend money is on Tyson. Should be interesting.

It starts at 8pm on Netflix with 3 or 4 bouts before the big fight. They list it as 4 hours long so ....I think Fred's guess at around 11pm is a good one.

Tyson may be the old dog but I think Jake Paul might be in for a bit of a surprise. Amongst other things Tyson can take a punch. Having boxed I can tell you that is a skill/gift not everyone shares equally. We’ll see I guess.

Just turned it on.

Pre-game talk at this point. It is 9pm central. I'm not really interested in the backstory or the chatter. I just want to see Tyson slap the crap out of Paul. But if Jake Paul wins, I'm fine with that too. Not really invested in either one. Sort of like baseball, if the Cubs are not playing I don't really care. In the case of this fight, Tyson is the old guy, I'm an old guy, Wrigley field where the Cubs play is an old ballpark, so I'm rooting for Tyson.

Mine got easy better for some reason. Watched on the phone too.
Tyson lasted all 8, but the young guy got him.

Did anyone watch the serrano vs taylor fight? Best fight I've seen in a long, long time.

Serrano beat the heck out of Taylor but the judges called the fight for Taylor. Myself and most everyone else is booing the decision.

In 20 minutes of boxing, over 1250 punches thrown and over 500 landed. That's an average of a punch thrown every SECOND!
Serrano landed 324 of 734 punches, while Taylor landed 217 of 529

If you don't have time to watch the whole fight, start the video at around 12:30 as that's when things really start getting heated/bloodied.

It was a great fight. Yes, i think the fight was robbed.
Too bad Tyson / Paul didn't mix it up like that. Even if it only lasted one round.

I watched the gals go at it. I agree. Best fight I've seen in a long long time.

I’ve always found that the lighter weights are better fights. Faster and more punches, but the big boys pack a lot more wallop in each hit.

I don’t think at his age he’s going to go out and try to destroy the other guy, and same goes for Paul, he’s not going to go out and put a 58 year old man in the care home. I believe it was just for entertainment , kind of like wrestling with your kids, it’s for fun but you still try hard enough to win but without hurting them 😂

It was all about the money. I'm sure they both got one of the biggest paydays of their careers.
I'd guess that is why it wasn't pay per view. Many would be shouting for money back. It was just another offering on Netflix.
All those that paid to get in and sat through 5.5 hours of it might be upset.
The women put on a fight worth watching WOW. They were something else. Like a few others I thought they gave the fight to the wrong fighter but the difference was only 1 point. 1 point.
