Merry Christmas Ya Filthy Animals Part II

Hey Dave!!!  How have ya been? Merry Christmas

Merry Christmas Dave, I see you stopped by for your annual visit. Hope all is well with you and your family.

... The kid is a junior in HS this year ...
Wow time sure does fly by!

Good luck with trying to maintain any 'leftover' savings.

As I tell the parents of my fencing students, you have a bucket to fill with scholarship money, doesn't matter what activities or subjects or sports fill the bucket, just work to get that bucket filled. Some sports offer little to nothing in scholarships but if the coach wants you, they fine scholarship money from clubs or academics. Some majors offer little to nothing in scholarships, but if the professor wants a kid, they "find" accounts, clubs, etc that will provide money.

If your kid is into sports, make sure to fill out the NCAA Eligibility Center page on the NCAA website. And then go to every college in which he is interested and fill out a recruitment form on the various sports.

Also take a look at https://www.cappex.com/

That website helps find a college that "fits" and provides a reasonable guesstimate of chances of acceptance, help find scholarships, etc etc etc
