It looks like our long ordeal is about over. We've been married since '95, and within a few years we realized things just weren't working right. We tried and tried over and over again to make it work, with no luck. There were times where we would go for months without trying, but then we had the conviction to go at it again with complete dedication. Still, after all that, it just didn't work. About three years ago we started to get professional help. After lots of consultations, there were a couple times where we almost had it figured out, but alas, in the end we were unsuccessful. This fall, we started another round of professional help, and it looks like the wait is finally over for us. By this summer, just a little bit short of our 13th anniversary, the long difficult wait will be over.
 
Congratulations! Party like it 1999 'cause it ain't gonna be about you for very much longer. Get all the big time consuming projects done. Brace yourself for the pregnancy hormones - you thought PMS was bad - you ain't seen nothing yet.
 
Cool!! Congratulations and get ready for the likelihood of twins!

The pregnancy horomones might not be so bad....but if she asks to hang onto a certain part of your anatomy during labor....be concerned.

Congrats! First you get to change diapers, then the next thing you know is that they want to borrow the car... life goes quickly, enjoy it!
 
Congratulations, been there, done that, luckily she wasn't twins........now I sometimes wonder why I did!!!!! Now I am a grandmother twice over and it compensates for a lot of the intervening hassle....enjoy being parents and then look forward to being grandparents.

I thought the topic was that you two couldn't make your marriage work and were considering divorce -- but I'm glad to hear otherwise. Congratulations!

Nah, spend the money on you & mama. :idea: They can earn college tuition shovelling horse poop and giving riding lessons at your riding stable, AND you get a tax deduction for their pay. :thumb:
