Matthew

Hangin in Tornado Alley
Some of you may have seen some pics and talk in the past about my college friend Matthew.... Long story short... he developed a blockage in his liver that eventually shut it down which led to the shut down of his kidneys which led to them taking him off life support earlier this week. The stubborn SOB has said for years he would never live to 35. He turned 34 in ICU on the 8th. It's hard to express the loss in my heart. We only became close in the last few years, but he would have given me the shirt off his back if needed. I have not seen him or his wife since they got married last year and Saturday's funeral is not how I envisioned a reunion. Please pray for our peace and comfort for Matthew was right AGAIN....

Jeremy, kind of know how you feel. A good friend of mine and actually dated some way back in the mid 70's past away two weeks ago. I don't know why this one is hitting me so hard as I have lost about 5 class mates so far.

Prayers headed your way Jeremy.

My Condolences Jeremy! Good thoughts and prayers headed your way.

Jeremy...I am sorry for your loss.

I hope this isn't taken the wrong way by anyone. A little voice in the back of my head says that he, along with others we are loosing are being given a chance to get out before it all goes to hell in a hand basket.

Sorry to hear about your friend Jeremy. I lost a friend to Kidney disease when I was young. It can be a long and painful process.

I'm sorry to hear about your loss.

My thoughts and prayers go out to you and his family.

So so sorry for your loss Jezza....remember your friend for the good times.

Prayers for all that knew and loved him....God Bless.

You know I love ya sweety, and you've got all my loving support now and especially for Saturday.
Big BIG hugs darling.

I am so very sorry Jeremy. I guess life is anything but fair and we will always question why.

Funerals are for the living to have some closure but I would say that Matthew knows the pain in your heart. Friends are forever and Matthew will be waiting when our turn comes to step over to the other realm.
