Gone But Not Forgotten
Went to a neighboring farm to pick up steer feed yesterday. He told me he was up at his other farm checking on his heifers and saw a horse and buggy back at his cabin by the lake. This is a good 1/2 mile back off the road. He walked on down to see what was going on and caught my Amish neighbor's one son in there with an Amish girl going at it. He proceeded to yell for them to get the hell out of there and the boy came out half dressed with a BS story and tried to say he was there alone. He told him if he caught them up there again he was going to tell his dad and a few minutes later they left in a big hurry. Guess there will be a wedding in the hollow pretty soon. They usually wait till after dark but I guess they thought they were safe way back there. I often find a buggy backed in to the bushes when we are out spotting deer. We just holler and shine the light around just like the old timers did to us when we were young.
