A transgender TSA agent fired from her job at an airport for using the women’s toilet has received a five-figure pay-out from the agency.
Ashley Yang was fired from her job at Los Angeles International Airport after allegedly being ordered to dress like a man and pat down men.
She had informed human resources that a background check would reveal she was born male and had not undergone sex reassignment surgery.

I'm certian i will take a hit on this as a male i don't want to be patted down by a gay dude i ccan understand why a woman wouldn't want to be patted down by another woman plumbed to pee like a man. i can understand that as a buisnessman why i wouldn't want some one mis representing their sex to represent my company at the front door with a transgender being the first contacts my customer has with my compan what message are we giving to my customers. if you have an openly gay male or female at leaste you are being honest about who you really are
 
I will defend her right to dress as she feels appropriate to her particular condition and sense of gender, but NOT to be in a career that puts her in a position whereby it becomes her duty to pat anyone down, whether she has had surgery or not. This is not acceptable at all. Moreover, I doubt that many people who she has to pat down would know that she was a transgender, who was still a man. Outrageous!

Yup! me too.
He.. he is a man and always will be a man.
I would rather trust a flaming gay man or a full blown bull-dyke lesbian pat me down rather than someone who is so fucked up about what he/she is.. employed by the TSA.
Like I said.. all sorts.
 
They knew up front who they were hiring. Shows how security conscious they are. As for the pat downs I would not mind at all.:whistling::clap::yum:
 
maybe they should have kept her or him and opened up another line for the cofused part of our poupulation can you imagine the embarrasement a feemale screener would have while frisking a female just to find she is plumbed to pee standing up.
