M3 fighting knife in m8 scabbard

came across this m3 knife. blade is marked U.S. M3-U.C.-1943 scabbard is marked USM8 bmco
i would rate the condition as good or better. no major rust, all parts intact. flame and bomb on pommel.

from what looking i have done, they are fairly rare, saw that one in far better condition went for $265 at auction.

want to sell it.
 
rare because i could not find any others with the same markings for sale. plenty of the other manufacturers for sale on ebay, and other forums, but none for sale with the markings of U.C.

every forum, ebay, craigslist, etc... i saw no utica knives. lots of knives, but all other manufacturers.

i dont know what it is worth as i cant find them for sale. if interested, email me and i will get some pictures of it.

I dont know if you have seen this site, but there are a few Utica knives listed if you scroll down. Not the same as yours but this guy may be able to help you find out with the value of it. :unsure:

that is it. my scabbard has the leather thong on the bottom, but does not have the metal clip on the top.
the leather handle on mine is a little bit loose, and the pommel is rusted. the tip has a burr on each side about 1/8 inch from the tip. looks like someone may have tried to use it at as a screwdriver. the burrs are minor but it makes the blade no perfect.
the pommel though rusted still shows the flame and bomb.

looks like it could be worth quite a bit.
