Lost my neighbor last night.

Gone But Not Forgotten
The old woman down the hollow has passed on. We have been taking care of her cats and her house for about 2 months since she first went to the hospital. She was a 10 year cancer survivor and had many of the same heart and circulatory problems as I do. Sure won't be the same around here anymore. I only knew her for 7 years but she was a good woman who led a hard life growing up. RIP Onolee.:flowers:

Sorry to hear of your loss..... Its strange how some folks{even when we dont know them all that well} can effect our lives.......and leave sush a gaping hole when they leave us!!!!

Sorry to hear about your loss.

It's something that happens a we grow older. I've lost some very good friends and aquaintances over the last couple of years and the void that they leave never seems to be filled.

You have mentioned this "friend" several times before Bill,.With great respect. She seemed, most certainly, a dear friend.

We are sorry for the loss.

My Condolences Bill. I also remember you mentioning her here quite a few times. Sure sad to know she's gone. :(

Sure glad I got to visit and give her a hug last Wednesday. The scary part is it puts me as the second oldest person in the hollow after the old preacher up my road. While folks passing is a part of life, some sure take a bigger chunk of it than others. That is why I always try to treat folks proper while they are alive.
