Looks like SCOTUS favors Trump on the Nov Ballot

Left leaning Politico is reporting that the US Supreme Court appears to have tipped its hand, in favor of Trump, against the state of Colorado, which is trying to keep Trump off the ballot. A ruling that would keep Trump on the Colorado ballot would very likely clear his path to remain on the ballot in all 50 states.

FULL STORY:

In addition to the staunch right members of the SCOTUS, the middle/swayable members seemed firmly in favor of a Trump candidacy on the ballot, and from the article there is this tid-bit, which you can find at the link above.

Perhaps most surprisingly, two of the court’s three liberals — Justices Elena Kagan and Ketanji Brown Jackson — also seemed unwilling to let states make this call.
“I think the question that you have to confront is why a single state should decide who gets to be president of the United States,” Kagan said at one point. “In other words, this question of whether a former president is disqualified for insurrection,” she continued. “It sounds awfully national to me.”
Justice Sonia Sotomayor is the lone exception — she was not particularly active once it became clear which way most of her colleagues were leaning.

I listened to the arguments at SCOTUS today. There were some excellent arguments made against Colorado's case. It was shot full of holes to put it lightly. Even the left leaning Justices had problems with Colorado's decision to remove Trump from their ballots. It is very likely, according to most of the experts, that Trump wins this, and it will be at least an 8-1 decision, if not unanimous.

Pretty much what I am seeing too.

Sotoymayer is was pretty quiet. But Justices Kagen and Brown-Jackson were seemingly skeptical.
