Hello All.
I need some diff parts for a 1967 sw48. Planetary gears, drum sleeve, drum gear, maybe even the drum. I would also consider a whole diff if it works. let me know if you have anything or know of a source.

Thanks Sean.

Thanks guys. I have been able to locate some parts in Quebec, Ontario, and New York. But,now I am starting to wonder if it is worth the time and money. I will be in 2k just in used parts to put it back together and then the epic battle of putting the tracks back on by myself. :w00t2: I love my little skidder for pulling trees out of the woods its just a big job for me to get back into running order. I will keep everyone posted if I decide to part it out:sad:

Ripstorm would you be interested in buying a J5 already rebuilt ?? Complete with spare tires & rims, bearings & seals I think tires may be solids, spare track belts, spare grousers. Engine fully rebuilt. One has a 251 & another has a 265 flat head. Located in NL. Transportion can be arranged for a fair price.
I will call him to confirm that they are still for sale & get back to you with a $$$$ figure ...

OT.

Hi OT.
I don't think I would be interested in a new machine unless it was for a price I couldn't refuse:yum:. One of the main reasons I chose a SW over a J5 was for the cab and Heat. I have a 20ton hydraulic winch from a wrecker on the back and a hydraulic pump coupled off the crank. It works (worked:ermm:)awesome for sneaking into the woods and dragging out trees full length.
Thanks for thinking of me.
Sean

Hi OT,
Thanks for looking into it for me but that's out of my league. I have been in touch with Boggie and it looks like he can fix me up with what I need:clap:
