looking for a bigger alternator

Id like to upgrade my alternator before I put some accessories on my 1971 thiokol spryte 1200C. I have a 5000lb winch Id like to install but I am worried the stock alternator isnt enough. Its a 300ci automatic

your stock alternator should work fine just use 2 batterys with a dual battery isolator so you cant run down the battery your not going to do a full 100 foot pull on an electric winch with out letting the motor cool I have one on my jeep and one on my drop deck trailer they both work fine on stock alternators.
