Lincoln Mig Welders

I just picked up a used like new Lincoln Weld Pack 3200 HD for cheap money. I also have a Weld Pack 100. Both have the gas valve on it for mig welding. The 100 has a fixed setting. The 3200 is adjustable. For some reason I can't find a happy medium on the setting of the gas valve on the 3200. Does anyone here own one of these? If so, what do you set your pressure at? Personally I think my Weld Pak 100 welds better than the much newer 3200 HD. I bought this 3200 HD because it is supposed to have another 35 amps of output. :puke1:

You should ask in either the Millrmotorsports Welding forum or the Hobart Welders forum.

Oh wait. I see you did and already got your answer in only about 10 minutes.

Yup, I'm a happy welder now. I forgot to switch the wires to the proper polarity for mig welding with gas. I haven't used flux core wire in my old welder in over 7 years. The new welder was setup for flux core wire. Duh, I would have read the manual if I had one. Not to mention the big notes on the inside of the cover for polarity. I now have the downloaded manual from Lincoln.
