I'm just running an IR spot light in par 46 rubber shells and have had good luck with them no street lights out of town and they work better than low beam head lights in all but the heavyest fog or snow fall but the state of alaska are using the light force lights on all of their snow plow trucks and have used them for a few years now so they must work i havn't been behind them so i can't compare them if you are interested pm me and i will give info on my bulbs they do work better than air craft landing lights and daw less amps
