Guy who went to my chuch, young police officer in Winston, was up on his roof yesterday. Fell off the roof, landed on his head, medivacked him back to winston. Took him off life support today, and he is no longer on this earth.

Married and had a family.

Sad day.

You just never know.

Those who say a prayers, please include one for him and his family.
 
I moved the thread to "Seriously Speaking" as I think it's the most appropriate place.

What a sad story. My prayers are with his family and friends.

With 2 little kids myself, I think about falling and what would happen every time I'm on a ladder or roof.
 
He made my list. I always worry about things like this when I am working. I can't imagine trying to explain it to my 5 y/o.
 
In the blink of an eye! One of the American airlines attendants that missed her normal flight on 9-11 that went into one of the towers was killed by a drunk driver here. Ya just never know.
