Larger (and more common) drive sprockets 2100b

I have been looking for a way to gear up my Thiokol 2100 without finding the increasingly rare drive gearing. So, when some Prinoth BR400 sprockets came available locally, I decided to go that route. They center well on the unit I have, with some 1/2” steel adaptor plates a local machinist made for me. Buuuut, I forgot how close those sprockets run to the wheel in front of them. So the question is, does anyone know if I will have problems moving that whole drive unit back a few inches? A 2 or 3 inch spacer on each side would give me the room I need, and I’m pretty sure it will go back that far. The driveline might need an extension, but that seems easy enough. And I have to extend the tracks a bit anyway. Any reason this won’t work?
