Labor Union resorts to Violence, shoots business owner

Police are investigating, it could be a lone disgruntled employee, a lone union member or it could be the work of a union thug (been known to happen). But the owner of a non-union company has been shot and his car damaged by what very clearly appears to be a pro-union attack on a non-union boss.

John King was shot in the arm last week when he surprised a man trying to slash the tires on the truck at his Lambertville home.The word "scab" was also scrawled on the side.

When he stepped out of his front door, the man fired one shot and ran off.

King is the owner of the largest non-union electrical contracting company in the area.

I resigned my position as a steward and grievance committeeman upon returning from the Steelworkers Union convention in 1995 after the USW absorbed the URW (United Rubber Workers) because vigilant measures were seriously discussed at the convention.
