So here I am, driving down a local alley (you never know what you may find in the alley), and I come across this. They had recently taken a fence down, or I would have found it long before this:

You just never know what you'll find...

This is snow cat adventures and useage.....Like this one has been used recently. Love the vintage ski's on the roof. Wonder how many years?

It's in it's natural state from what I have seen on this forum... Not running

The tracks just make me want to chuckle...alot. Wood gousers?

Regards, Kirk

Well...I was on an adventure...and not used to seeing it there...does that count??

Just pulling your leg a little bit about the choice of where to put your post!!:whistling:
I have yet to see a member here with one that runs, however...

Kirk

I like leg pulling, most of the forum seems to be about having fun. I'm just glad somebody is reading my posts!

reddog you had better watch out Big Al is going to see this and get a woodie a krusty in it's origional state. kind of like finding a dinasour egg or petrafide wood thaat would make a good title petrafide krusty sighting

Don, Thanks for the heads up. If Big Al comes a calling, I'll make sure I'm backed up to the fence before I show it to him...:whistling:

Reddog, the body on that Kristi looks almost perfect!
Why did they take the tracks off?
Too bad you didn't get some shots of the inside.
I'd have liked to see those too.

Wait I am confused, all the Natural state Kristi's I have looked at don't have that rare window option?

???

Mike

I stand corrected. the windows on the drivers side are in the natural state. *missing*

Mike.

There is no drivers side on a Kristy. The driver is lost in the middle and don't know if they are coming or going.:clap:

One of my missions for today is to find the owner and see what his/her plans are for the rig. I hate to see stuff just sit and rot. While the engine was in place and looked complete, I have to think the tracks were removed because it does not run and it made it easier to load. If it shows up in my yard on a trailer, and I tell my wife it's her Christmas present, I may have to spend the rest of the winter in Shrek...

from what bobcat says the engine is toast something about run with the dog house closed i don't know what that means mabe Big Al ate too much bens and cabbage than took a ride.

Colorado is the historic home of Kristi. There are probably more than a few of them hanging around in yards and garages in your state.

Hey ! That baby looks to be in pretty good condition ! Change out that exhaust and it might be a real runner . Those track cleats are Hickory and lasted pretty well for a 50 year old machine . I switched mine over to HDPE cleats and it is now a Snot Track eating SOB .

You can change out the exhaust and get a better design that works and does not pour water down the stacks !!

BTW ,,, Those are my old skis on top too:mellow: !

Now that's a fancy machine! Look at that thing!!

I even see you have a hot and cold running water faucets right in the dash!

well i can safely say there are no krustys in this neck of the woods the - 20 weather must be too cold for those plastic bath tubbs. on the plus side we don't have to worry about the wrong kind of snow cat owners comming arund here

We had considered trying to find one of these Kristi machines but now the better half is afraid that her friends will all call her the bath tub lady ! why are these referred to like this ? :yum:

Very simple ..... When you sit in one they are so nice and comfortable that it is like sitting in your hot tub .
