The cat from my avatar had her kittens about a month ago. Took her in as a stray some weeks before she gave birth. Pretty cute if you ask me. Much easier finding these guys homes than some other pets, and easier to take care of.

Well fine....if this is the kitten picture thread....

We had nine kittens in the house this summer (two different mommas).

Only have picture of four of them. All but two have been given away already.

We asked for $25 per kitten, and that is what is being used for the spaying.

I'd guess on average (for a house that is "stuck" with kittens), the male cat would be nowhere to be found. You'd be surprised at the amount of people "stuck" with kittens who finally find homes for them (the kittens), only to have their female cat pregnant again (go wonder) and go through the whole cycle of finding homes again for another litter.
