From a current owner of a DK45s! Would you please address the KL120 and KL130 loader problems (cross member cracking) that many of my friends are experiencing! It would do Kioti well to acknowledge the problem to current owners of these products and address it ASAP. Besides potentially becoming a public relations problem to Kioti due to the internet traffic on the subject, it could potentially become a safety issue. Please make me proud to be a member of the Kioti family!

Mr. Mallory,

I received your website inquiry regarding the KL120 and KL130 loader cracking issue. KIOTI has acknowledged this problem to our dealers. At this time however, we are performing extensive tests and gathering factual information about the cracking. Once we have determined a resolution to this issue we will release the information to end users who own these model loaders and our registered in our data base. Our primary goal is to stand behind our products and take care of our customers who own them. Thank you for your inquiry and concern on this issue.

Greg, I happen to know a guy who is the O.E. supplier of the Kioti and the Mahindra loaders. They are working on the problem too.

I do not know, and did not ask, who designed the loader (one could imagine that would be a touchy question) but the design company is likely the one that will have the most liability in this case.

Over on the other site there is an interesting post. But to set it up there are several dealers who posted saying that Kioti has notified all the dealers. . . And several members say that Kioti told them that all the Kioti dealers have been notified about the loader problem with the stress cracks in the 120 and 130 loaders.

Donnyj and I trade PMs on a regular basis, he's a really good guy, level headed and objective. The information he posted is essentially second hand information, however the dealer he spoke with had no reason to lie, so it seems reasonable to presume he was told the truth and that he reported the truth.

Something interesting I found out today. I talked to another Kioti dealer who sells alot of CK series tractors. I asked him what he thought about the loader cracking issues and he had no idea what I was talking about.

He said he has never seen one crack yet. He said he has not heard any information from Kioti on this. From what I gathered he sells alot of CK series tractors. Go figure
