So I think Kaluha needs to go to the vets this morning. I have a 10am appt. I was bathing her the other day and I have never seen a dog shed so much. I mean I know goldens do but WOW..I brushed her and she still managed to clog up the shower drain before the whole ordeal was over..... She also has a rash going on down under....I think she has seborrhea but who knows I am not a vet. So off to the vet in an hour and a half....yay!! Cant wait to see this bill:hammer: but it doesnt matter...She deserves to be taken care of!

One Hour later + one piss spot on my car seat:glare: + $78 vet bill = one dog with allergies :ermm:

Cute pics of Kaluha!
Man, I wish Gretchen's vet only charged that much for an office visit.
$45 just for setting foot through the door.

I get discounts because we also take my moms cat and my two cats there. So a visit would normally be $35 bucks but my discount brings it down to $28

benadryl (diphenhydramine) is safe for pets - and cheaper than prescription antihistamines for dogs.

Also those stop shedding food supplements actually work pretty well.

They do??? I might have to try them. We have a red heeler/lab mix that sheds constantly. I was watching TV the other day and a doggie hair fuzz ball the size of a tumbleweed drifted across the floor, blown by the ceiling fans.

Agree about the Benadryl. It works for my dogs.

I learned a long time ago not to count the cost when you take a dog to the vet. It'll only make you cry. I think that I've paid for two of my vet's kids to go through college and they don't even send a card at Christmas time. Shame on them.
